Vel Tech Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India, invites International Visiting Faculty Members to offer Shorter Course

The course objective is to expose the students and faculty to new topics / latest technologies in Engineering and also to identify areas of possible joint Research by interaction with Vel Tech researchers and we will feel more privileged if you could accept our invitation. The course may be for the duration of 15 hours to 45 hours. Depending on the Course Title, awarding of credit may be decided. Minimum 30 hours of teaching expected. Preferably two 15 hour courses.

The course topic may fall under the broad streams of Engineering such as Mechanical Engineering (including Materials), Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Civil Engineering. The exact topic may be mutually decided.

Students: From Undergraduate or Masters, based on the topic.

Evaluation: An examination to be conducted at the end and credits to be evaluated.

Course Material: To be made available to students in English.

Period: At least one week during January - March or July - October.

Entitlements:
i. Travel by economy class to Chennai & back
