With the "Future Vouchers" funding programme, the European Union, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Federal Employment Agency support small and medium-sized enterprises with up to 249 employees in the Rhenish mining area in coping with structural change. The support programme is aimed at SMEs with a place of business in the city and city region of Aachen, the districts of Düren and Heinsberg and, with restrictions, also in the district of Euskirchen.
