Freshman Institute

The ideal entrance to studying in Germany at the Freshman Institute
Would you like to study in Germany?
Do you have basic knowledge in English or German?
We can help you.

For this program you do not need to meet any additional requirements. The only requirement is our Entrance Examination.

We require an “Entrance Examination” based on what you wish to study either in English or in German – which can even be taken in your home country.

If you pass our entrance exam or already meet the admission requirements to German "Studienkolleg," you can join our Freshman Program.

Introduction of Freshman Program

For our Program you do not need to meet any additional requirements. The only requirement is our “Entrance Test” .

(In addition,  we ensure that you get a student visa for Germany. You will then spend a year (the Freshman year) further training your language, your technical and practical skills, as far as it is necessary for your future field of study.)

By passing the “Entrance Test” ODER by being accepted to the Program, we ensure that you get a student visa for Germany. During the Freshman year you will further train your language, technical and practical skills with respect to the needs for your future field of study.

After- successfully completing the Freshman year, you can continue to study one of the Bachelor’s programs at a university in North Rhine-Westphalia. For more information on the partner universities and programs, please click here
