The Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik (DLR) is the focus of the Federal Republic of aerospace. Max-Planck-Institut für Sonnensystemforschung

The Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research is a research institute for astronomy and astrophysics at Lindau. The scientific exploration of the solar system is the central theme of the projects which are conducted at the Institute. It is divided into three sections: one for the sun and heliosphere, one for planets and comets, and a third for physics in the interior of the Sun. The MPS is a part of the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, which includes 80 research facilities in Germany. In the last five years, members of the Institute are published every year about 270 articles in international journals and books.

CSNSM (Center and Nuclear Spectrometry Mass Spectrometry) is a laboratory of the University of Paris-Sud 11 in cooperation with the French National Centre for Scientific Research.
