Admission requirements

University entrance qualification

If you want to study business law you should have a great interest in juridical and economic issues as well as in the political and economic world events. In addition, you should be able to express yourself well orally and in writing.

Prerequisite for studying business law or business law with a practical semester is a higher education entrance qualification. (A-levels or university of applied science entrance qualification)

Higher education entrance qualification in one of these forms:

    > A certificate of general higher education entrance qualification entitles you to study the degree    
        programme.

    > The university of applied science entrance qualification entitles you to study the courses of study 
       specified in the certificate.

    > Vocational education and professional experience (access to higher education with entrance
       qualfication): Under certain conditions you can start to study with a general or university of  applied 
      sciences (see explanations here).

     > Foreign university entrance qualification(see explanations here).

     > You can study everything at our university of applied sciences with a university of applied sciences
         qualification.

 

   But please keep in mind:

       - Depending on the type of certificate, a compulsory six or 12-month "practical part" is necessary for
         university of applied sciences entrance, next to the school entrance qualification

       -  Some certificates from outside the state of NRW may have to be recognised by a district government
