Every year we offer three exmination periods:
> the examination period at the end of the summer semester will be in June/July,
> the examination period at the beginning of the winter semester will be in September,
> the examination period at the end of the winter semester will be in January/February.

Are there any requirements to take exams?

For certain exams there are admission prerequisites. For example, in the degree programme Business Studies you have to have passed the course Mathematics for Business and Statistics 1 in order to take Business Mathematics 2 from the second semester and Statistics 2 from the third semester.

How many attemps do I have to pass an exam in my undergraduate (bachelor's) degree programme?

You will be given three attempts at each examination. In the degree programme International Business Studies you will only receive 2 attempts per module. You can find information on this in the examination regulations of your degree programme.

In total, you may improve three passed exams during your studies. The improvement attempt must be taken within three examination periods after passing the module. The better result of both examinations is always evaluated.
