Industrie 4.0 Summer School in Mexico, 2018

Our Industrie 4.0 Summer School (led by Prof. Wollert) was exported to Mexico! It took place from September 21st-28th, 2018 at the Research Institute CIDESI in Querétaro.

24 participants (among them CIDESI students and researchers, but also some externals from other universities) gained an insight into the topic Industrie 4.0.

The summer school gave an insight into the objectives and strategies of Industrie 4.0, showed the current status of activities and provides information on how to benefit from the ideas linked to Industrie 4.0 today. In addition to a theoretical introduction to Industrie 4.0, the main technologies and processes for the implementation of Industrie 4.0 will be introduced and then addressed in greater detail in a workshop. The aim is to enable the digitisation of processes. Starting with the process itself, Prof. Wollert explained how it could be digitized and gave hands-on examples for process digitisation.
