Are you a refugee from Ukraine and do you have a Ukrainian school-leaving qualification?

If so, you can apply directly to FH Aachen for the Winter Semester 2024/25.

Application Procedure

Step by Step Procedure

1. Send the following documents by email:

Scan of the secondary school certificate in original language
Scan of the English or German translation of the secondary school certificate
Proof of the successfully completed academic year in Ukraine (scan your transcript of records)
Assement Test (Feststellungsprüfung), if you have not yet studied in Ukraine
Proof of the required language skills in form of DSH-2, Goethe-Zertifkat C2, TestDaF 4x4, telc C1 Hochschule or equivalent certificate

If you are currently still attending a language course and have not yet taken the examination, please send us for now a certificate of attendance.

Please be sure to indicate in the email which degree programme you would like to apply for.

2. After the assessment, we will email you your calculated average grade and a short instruction for the online application.

3. Register in the Application Portal of FH Aachen and, with the help of the instructions, apply.

Consultation and Funding

You can find advice and support on taking up or continuing your studies in Germany at the Bildungsberatung Garantiefonds Hochschule (GF-H).
For certain groups of people, the Bildungsberatung (Educational Counselling Service) also offers financial support.
