Not only engineers with professional experience have the opportunity to become teachers at a "Berufskolleg" (vocational college). Thanks to the cooperative collaboration between FH Aachen and RWTH Aachen University, FH students who have completed their Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, vehicle and drive engineering as well as mechanical engineering can also continue their studies with the Master's degree programme for a teaching position at vocational colleges at RWTH Aachen University.
Further information on the cooperative transition to the Master of Education at RWTH Aachen University can be found here: Der Weg zum Lehramt an Berufskollegs (The Path to a Teaching Position at Vocational Colleges).
Starting a career in Germany is something you have to make preparations for. Especially for international students, there are a few obstacles. How does the German labour market work, where can I find jobs, how do I apply in Germany, what do I have to keep in mind regarding my residence status and who can help me? There are many questions to be clarified in order to successfully position oneself on the German labour market. The information event provides international students with an overview of the German labour market and the legal framework. In addition, employees of the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit), the Foreigners' Registration Office (Ausländerbehörde) as well as the Career Center of RWTH Aachen University, the Career Service and Department of International Affairs of FH Aachen provide information on possibilities of support, contact points and offers with the objective of optimally supporting international students as they enter the German labour market.
Please note that you need to sign up under www.rwth-aachen.de/seminare
