The Career Service organises an annual Job Fair at FH Aachen where regional, national and international companies, students and graduates can get in contact. Furthermore, the Career Service participates in the organisation and realisation of the Nacht der Unternehmen (Night of Companies).
Moreover, the Career Service provides a list of career fairs outside university and lists job exchanges on the Internet that can, additionally, make finding a suitable job easier.
Throughout the year, the Job Portal offers companies the opportunity to publish their offers (work placements, trainee positions, final theses, jobs for graduates). Students and graduates will find a wide range of jobs in Germany here.
Once a year, FH Aachen invites all students and graduates from the university region to the university's own career fair meet@fh-aachen, thereby facilitating early dialogue between industry, students and graduates. Leading companies in the region are available to young academic talent for conversations about work placements, final theses, side jobs and permanent positions. Additionally, an attractive accompanying programme will provide visitors with further valuable information on career planning.
At meet@fh-aachen, you can talk to students and graduates of FH Aachen directly on campus. You will get the opportunity to provide information about your entry-level positions, work placements and trainee programmes as well as about your offers for final theses. Get to know interested applicants during spontaneous discussions at the trade fair stand or via binding interview appointments. Do not hesitate to contact us!
The FH Aachen Job Portal covers the regional and German labour market. It is aimed not only at people seeking employment but also at entrepreneurs who can post their job offers here, and it is rounded off by a list of job exchanges with a variety of different focuses, which provides interested parties with a comprehensive overview of positions, at home and abroad, for trainees, students writing their Diplom theses as well as graduates.
Career Service gladly accepts tips to supplement this exemplary list. Please send us your suggestions: csiba(at)fh-aachen.de.
Offers outside Germany, especially work placements offered by companies in other European countries for the purpose of conducting practical trainings, that can be funded with an EU scholarship (Erasmus Placement), can now be found on the website of the Department of International Affairs.
