The Freshman Institute is an integrated part of the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, a public university in Germany, and has offered the German foundation year (Studienkolleg) with the final entrance exam to German universities (Feststellungsprüfung) for many years.
As it is extremely difficult at the moment for students to be admitted to a German Studienkolleg, the Freshman Institute created the first Studienkolleg in Morocco.
This program has the following advantages:
The program will conclude after two semesters with the final entrance exam to German universities (Feststellungsprüfung) in May 2019 so that students can apply directly to a university in Germany for the winter semester 2019/2020 in a technical field of study.
An entrance exam is required for this program. The entrance exam for the program starting in September 2019 will be offered in spring 2019.
The Freshman Institute of the FH Aachen will work together with the Moroccan German Consulting Group in Kenitra.
This organization is run by
Jeffrey Lüpkes, Language and Communication Trainer (German teacher for German as a Foreign Language - DaF)
Tel: 00 212 617127426
Hammadi Boujbiha, Dipl.-Ing., senior teacher for mathematics and technology
The costs of the Studienkolleg (foundation year) is 31000 MAD per semester.
The Freshman Institute of the FH Aachen is responsible for Morocco Program. The final exam (Feststellungsprüfung) will be organized in agreement with the state government office in Cologne.
Information about the complete Freshman program and further developments in the Morocco Program are available elsewhere on this website.
