Especially the MINT (STEM) faculties and research facilities are faced with considerable technical, infrastructure, and personnel challenges, which require substantial financial resources in order to be met.

Generous support from private companies, donors and people has enabled us to provide our lecture halls and laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment, to finance highly qualified teaching and service personnel, and to offer students the best possible study conditions.

The regional character of our support is particularly important to us, since, as a university with locations in Aachen and Jülich, we are closely connected to Euregio Meuse-Rhine. Supporting young people is one of the most profitable investments for our region.
