English Language Summer Schools in Wales/UK, July or August 2018

© Wrexham Glyndŵr University

Dear Colleague,

We had a very successful and international summer school 2017. We have, therefore, decided to repeat our traditional English language and British culture summer school in July and August 2018. The website address is

A standard application deadline for students requiring no visa will be 4th May 2018 for the July summer school; and 15th June accordingly for the August summer school.

The enrolment is made very easy, no agent fees are involved and we have good discounts for groups arriving. We shall take care of your students from the moment they arrive at the airport in Manchester, and at the end of the summer school we shall bring them back to the same airport again. Of course students can make their own travel arrangements if they so wish; and we are very happy to advise if required.

We do not only offer summer schools but English language courses at other times of the year as well, and of different durations: from 4 weeks to 11 months. We plan to offer these courses also from September 2018 onwards, and again, group discounts apply. The Language Centre will help with obtaining university accommodation. More information about our intensive English language courses is available at

Applicants for University undergraduate or postgraduate courses will benefit from our pre-sessional English courses in case they still need to upgrade their IELTS results:

I’d be grateful if you could please print out our attached leaflet and display it in an area where your students could see it. I also forward testimonials written by our previous students.

I’d be glad to have an opportunity to discuss any English programmes with you, and am looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes from Wales/UK,

Dr. phil.  Leila Luukko-Vinchenzo
