The Career Service offers a workshop for international students and alumni on Friday, 1st December 2023, from 12pm to 5pm. Venue is FH Aachen, the location will be announced at registration

In the workshop the following topics will be discussed:

Workshop Contents:

• What cultural standards and patterns influence German behaviour and German work culture?
• What are typical situations at the workplace, and how can I handle them successfully?
• Why do Germans use direct communication, and how can I apply direct speech at the workplace?
• How do I approach my boss, my colleagues, and project partners, when I want to make suggestions?
• How do I integrate into a German work team and contribute my personal strengths?
• What rules of business etiquette should I observe?
