Lectures and events

Dear students, our lecture series “IngenieurINNENwelten” is about to begin! We would like to extend a warm invitation to you all!

During the talks, women will share their experiences from the still male-dominated world of technology and science. They will discuss the challenges, opportunities, lessons learnt and anecdotes from their day-to-day work, with the aim of providing students in particular with insights and a source of inspiration. We’d like to thank our guests and look forward to their fascinating talks!

The talks are organised by Professors Dr.-Ing. Andrea Upmann (FB6), Dr.-Ing. Nina Koppmann (FB2) and Ms Dipl.-Ing. Katrin Brittner (FB6). We would also like to thank the Women Professors’ Programme, led by Ms Berg, and the “Ladies in STEM” programme run by the Equality Office for their support.

The theme of ‘Space in Aachen’ will be explored through an exciting and varied programme. There is plenty to see in terms of interesting projects and exciting developments. In a relaxed atmosphere, there will be talks as well as opportunities for questions and discussion. Anyone interested in the topic is warmly invited to come to the Aachen Centre of Excellence for Mobility (KMAC) from 2.30 pm to gain an overview of the wide range of space-related activities in Aachen.
A detailed report on the event will follow here afterwards.
