Examination Inspections
From 14 September 2026, exam papers will be available for viewing at the end of the summer semester 2026. It is not necessary to register to view your exam papers. No special viewing sessions will be offered. Please use this opportunity to reflect on your performance. The purpose of this review is to enable you to learn independently from your written examination for the future (Where did I answer the questions correctly? Where did I go wrong? How can I prepare even better for future written examinations?) and to understand the assessment or, in individual cases, to have it corrected. You will be able to view the written examination paper itself, including the marked version and the assessment scheme. Any model answers are not included in the documents available for inspection.
Deputy inspection
If you are prevented from attending the dates we have specified for an important reason, you can appoint a deputy. The substitute must provide the following proofs and certificates:
- Submission of a transcript of grades showing that the substitute has already passed the examination.
- Power of attorney in written form (not digital)
More than one proxy per person will not be accepted.
Only one written examination per person will be handed out for inspection.
Online inspection
Log on to https://www.ea.ili.fh-aachen.de/ at the appropriate time , enter the course in which you took the examination in the examination area and view your examination.
In the course you will also find the link and information on the communication channel during the inspection.
Objection
If you wish to appeal, you will receive a copy of your examination file upon request . The prerequisite for this is that you attend the exam inspection appointment. The application must be submitted to the examination office within one week of the viewing date (digitally or in hard copy).
