Top position in the CHE university ranking
In the latest university ranking by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE), FH Aachen achieves excellent assessments from students in the Bachelor's degree programmes in Business Administration/Business Studies and Business Law. In addition to students' assessments of the study conditions at their university, the ranking also includes facts in the areas of study, teaching and research.
Students are particularly satisfied with the support they receive from lecturers, the organisation of their studies and the range of courses on offer.
With around 120,000 students surveyed, the CHE University Ranking has been the most comprehensive comparison of universities in the German-speaking world for over 25 years. Among the top 3 in the manager magazin ranking
In 2026, FH Aachen is once again one of the three best universities of applied sciences in the field of auditing in the manager magazin ranking. This confirms the university's top position once again and builds on the successes of previous years. FH Aachen has already achieved outstanding results in previous rankings.
The ranking is based on the assessment by numerous auditing firms and their clients, who particularly emphasise the practical relevance and quality of the education.
The three dedicated professors in the subject area of auditing, Prof Dr Yasmine Bassen-Metz, Prof Dr Eva Bracht and Prof Dr Bettina Schneider, contribute significantly to this success with their professional expertise and strong practical relevance.
The results are published in the current issue of manager magazin (published on 20 March 2026) in the special issue "Germany's best auditors 2026/27" and can be viewed at www.beste-wirtschaftspruefer.de. The ranking is intended to make it easier for prospective auditors to choose their university.

Personnel managers decide: FH Aachen with business studies among the top ten in the WirtschaftsWoche ranking
FH Aachen achieved sixth place in the WirtschaftsWoche 2024 ranking of universities of applied sciences specialising in business administration. This means that after 7th place in 2023 and 2022 and 10th place in 2021, it continues to climb.
500 HR managers from small, medium-sized and large companies were asked which universities produce the best graduates in each subject area.
The result: More than 10 per cent of the HR managers surveyed named FH Aachen as the university from which they particularly like to recruit employees with a degree in business administration.
