Research at the Faculty of Business Studies
The self-image of the Faculty of Business Studies includes applied research in very different facets in addition to professionally sound and practice-oriented teaching. The spectrum ranges from empirical studies and scientific publications to practice-oriented knowledge transfer or from quantitative methods to the moderation of change processes. The form, methods and results vary accordingly.
The research performance of the faculty is differentiated according to four target groups and in very different ways:

A) Companies
- Qualified documented contacts to representatives of business practice in the form of references for existing, planned or potential projects, e.g. in research proposals.
- Diverse cooperation partners and projects
- Study projects with subsequent formal review
- Final theses, if applicable, with subsequent employment

C) Scientific community

- Preparation of qualified reference books

Aachener Online-Schriften Wirtschaft und Recht
The "Aachener Online-Schriften Wirtschaft und Recht" offer academically interested students of the Faculty of Business Studies the opportunity to publish outstanding final theses (Bachelor's and Master's theses) in the fields of business studies, business informatics and business law online. Academic publications make the work accessible to a broad specialist public and thereby raise the author's profile. This is an open-access publication that can be read free of charge, whereby the copyright remains with the author.
