BIP+ Programmes: Sustainability and Entrepreneurship
at LapinAMK Finland (2026)
The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on Sustainable Entrepreneurship is a collaborative academic initiative bringing together students from five European universities to develop sustainable business ideas aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Running over several weeks from January to February 2026, the programme combines virtual teamwork sessions with a face-to-face study week held in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland, where teams finalise and pitch their proposals. With Lapland University of Applied Sciences as the main host, students work in international teams to tackle real-world sustainability challenges using frameworks such as the Business Model Canvas and the five stages of design thinking, gaining both entrepreneurial skills and cross-cultural experience in the process.
For this Blended Intensive Programme, the host university rotates annually. In 2026, LapinAMK hosted the programme.
BIP+ HRM Programme: ‘The Future of Work’
at UCLL, Belgium
The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at UCLL Campus Diepenbeek, Belgium, brings together management students from around the world to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping modern, future-proof HRM – from AI-driven transformation to global business dynamics – and to develop the skills needed to thrive in an international environment. Students are set an engaging case study on international HRM that requires interdisciplinary knowledge and critical thinking. This programme is divided into two phases, with the first phase taking place online and the second phase in person in Hasselt. Structured as a competition, students working in international teams are encouraged to demonstrate team spirit, commitment and enthusiasm whilst having fun at the same time.

About the Blended Intensive Programme at UCLL
"This programme has been an ideal next step in my sustainability journey, and it could be the perfect first step for you! I’ve learnt practical models for launching a sustainable business whilst collaborating with peers from diverse backgrounds, making every discussion enriching. The opportunity to visit pioneering labs and start-ups – and connect with people actively making a difference – has been a real highlight. Last year, we even met German founders who shared their stories first-hand, which was both inspiring and insightful. Whether you’re curious about sustainability or simply want to explore new approaches to business, this programme is something you won’t want to miss."
About the Blended Intensive Programme at UCLL
"I decided to take part in the programme because I wanted to deepen my knowledge of sustainability and entrepreneurship. It was an amazing experience to learn how to set up a company from scratch, come up with innovative business ideas, and work alongside like-minded people from different countries. Through the BIP, I gained invaluable insights into the world of sustainable business and had the chance to learn from experts in the field. I was also able to contribute my ideas to help emerging start-ups tackle their challenges. The opportunity to meet people from all over the world, develop new ideas and gain hands-on experience of entrepreneurship is something I wouldn’t want to miss! Thank you once again for creating such a positive environment that enables students to apply their knowledge and learn through practical experience."
