Physics Laboratory
Almost all students in the 1st or 2nd semester of the faculty 5 (Electrical Engineering and Information Technology) and 8 (Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics) carry out experiments in the physics laboratory as part of their physics practical, which is part of the Physics course.
Typical basic physics experiments are available in the laboratory in up to 14 different versions. Students use these experimental set-ups to carry out measurements in the fields of mechanics, electrodynamics, optics and vibration theory.
A special feature of the physics laboratory is the extensive collection of physical demonstration and hands-on experiments. These show amazing effects and encourage students to think and tinker.
Equipment
- Practical experiments on mechanics, electrodynamics, optics and vibration theory with different implementation variants, partly supported by the PhyPhox app
- Numerous physical demonstration and hands-on experiments, suitable both for demonstrations in classroom teaching and in some cases as manual experiments
