If you would like advice on the topic of a semester abroad and would like to find out about the possibilities, partner universities of FH Aachen or the necessary organisational steps, you are welcome to come to Grit Jacobi (FB8, Goe 00413) during consultation hours.
If you know exactly in which country and at which foreign partner university you would like to complete your semester abroad, you can make an appointment directly with the Department of International Affairs. If possible, you should already be fully informed.
Some students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics have kindly provided us with a report on their experiences after their semester abroad. Of course, experience reports always reflect personal experiences, but they are often very helpful in developing a "gut feeling" about where to go. During a semester abroad, you can study at a foreign university and then have the academic achievements credited to your FH degree programme, or you can complete practical training or write your final thesis abroad.
