Freshman Program

The Freshman Program is a joint programme of the Freshman Institute of FH Aachen and the Aachen Institute of Applied Sciences e.V. (AcIAS e.V.). It prepares international students for studying in Germany who do not meet the standard admission requirements for German universities.

The Freshman Institute of FH Aachen is responsible for quality assurance of the Freshman Programme, supervision of the academic content, and issuance of the final certificates. The Aachen Institute of Applied Sciences e.V. (AcIAS e.V.) is responsible for the financial aspects, the general framework conditions, and the implementation of the Freshman Program.

The fee for the Freshman Program is currently €21500, including a €500 security deposit for the accommodations.
 

Research and development projects

Research and development projects are supported by AcIAS. If it is not possible or too costly to carry out these projects within the university, AcIAS can provide support.
