For over ten years, FH Aachen has been awarding scholarships to high-achieving and committed students from all subject areas under the motto "Promoting talent - securing the next generation".

A scholarship relieves the financial burden on students and enables them to concentrate on their studies. It is an award that motivates students and can strengthen their ties to their university and the region.

These scholarships are financed in equal parts by donations from private sponsors - companies, foundations, institutions, associations and private individuals - and by funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the federal "Deutschlandstipendium" programme. Scholarship holders receive annual scholarships of 300 euros per month, with the donated amount of 150 euros per month being doubled by the federal government.

With their donation, sponsors not only make a valuable investment in education and equal opportunities, but also provide tangible support to young talents in realising their potential. By organising networking events and the festive scholarship ceremony in the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall at the start of each funding year, FH Aachen creates opportunities for sponsors and scholarship holders to meet. In addition, the university organises excursions to the locations of the companies providing the scholarships - from a construction site to a laboratory, from the server room to the production hall. The sponsoring companies themselves can also offer practical trainings, jobs or final theses and thus inspire the scholarship holders for their company.

• Get in personal contact with high-performing, committed students and get them excited about your company while they are still studying.

• Choose the subject area of "your" scholarship holders from 10 faculties and over 80 degree programmes in STEM subjects, business studies, communication and product design.

• Offer company visits, practical trainings, jobs or final theses.

• As a partner of FH Aachen, you can benefit from the university's networks and the exchange between science and business.

• Invest in education, create equal opportunities and utilise the positive image transfer by presenting your company as a sponsor through our press and public relations work.

• You can claim the sponsorship as a tax-deductible donation.

Option A:
For an annual scholarship of 1,800 euros or more, you can specify the desired subject area as well as personal and social criteria for the selection of scholarship holders. We will put you in contact with the scholarship holders and mention you as a sponsor of the scholarship programme in our press and public relations work for the duration of the funding year. If you wish, we can work with you to organise a company visit for the scholarship holders.

Option B:
From five annual scholarships totalling at least €9,000, there is also the option of awarding the sponsor's name to the endowed scholarships.

Option C:
From ten annual scholarships totalling at least 18,000 euros, there is also the possibility of being involved in the selection process of the scholarship holders in an advisory capacity.

Additional option "non-material support":
Round up your funding amount or donate an amount of your choice in addition to the scholarship and use it to support offers to promote the scholarship holders' extracurricular skills, such as company visits, networking events, career-building workshops, visits to the NRW state parliament or cultural events.
