Job Vacancies
We are urgently looking for microwave technicians who would like to make a really big contribution to climate protection!
For our highly exciting research work in the research field of “free-standing plasmas” (in which we are a world leader), we at the IMP are urgently looking for microwave technicians to carry out the research work here on a full-time or part-time basis and to bring these novel technologies to industry as outstanding specialists.
Young graduates are also sought after. Full doctoral supervision is available if required. Numerous doctorates have already been completed at the IMP. For researchers in the GHz area, an environment with LGBTTIQ as well as neurodiversity (e.g. autistic people) has always been a reality.
Work on saving energy and/or reducing CO2 emissions on a large scale as well as saving lives!
There are currently two positions open: Both in the field of free standing GHz-plasma oven, the first one in the higher kW-range and a second one lower kW-range!
Details on the state of research in our company are shown in the following presentation Microwave Plasmas and can also be found in the two textbooks "High Frequency Technology" and "Microwave Technology".
A Bachelor's or Master's degree and in-depth knowledge in preferably both fields of activity (but at least microwave or high-frequency technology) are often prerequisites for working on a research project. As a rule, candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Experience in circuit simulation as well as network analysis,
- Willingness to work practically on multi-physical problems, especially with 3D field simulators,
- enjoyment of interdisciplinary tasks.
New research projects are often given higher priority if there are potential employees for them. So get in touch with us early!
