Regional groups

Are you a FH Aachen alumna/alumnus and would like to network with former fellow students who live in the same city as you? Then why not become a regional ambassador!

What does that mean?

You organise regular meetings (at least twice a year) in your city - we support and invite the alumni. You are free to organise the meetings as you wish: they can take the form of a regulars' table, company visits, a meal out together...

In which cities are there already regional groups?

We already have a group for alumni living in the Aachen area and the Cologne/Bonn/Düsseldorf area. Please write to us or the respective regional ambassadors if you would like to join these groups.

Our 1st regional group meeting of alumni living in the Aachen area took place on 5 December 2025 and was a complete success! The evening began with an exclusive guided tour of Aachen Cathedral, during which the alumni were able to get to know the cathedral from a completely different perspective. After the tour, other alumni joined us and together we rounded off the evening at the Christmas market . What a great networking event!

Our 1st regional group meeting of alumni living in the Cologne/Bonn/Düsseldorf area took place on 30 January 2026 in the lobby of the Motel One in Cologne and was a very fruitful exchange. The alumni have lots of great ideas on how alumni can network with the university. Here's to more great networking events like this!
