Admission requirements for Business Studies Praxis Plus
Study + vocational training
a) higher education entrance qualification in one of these forms:
- A certificate of general university entrance qualification (Abitur) entitles the holder to study the degree programme.
- The subject-linked university entrance qualification entitles the holder to study the degree programmes shown on the certificate.
- Vocational training and work experience (university entrance qualification without the general university entrance qualification): Under certain conditions, you can also take up studies without a general university entrance qualification or a subject-linked university entrance qualification.
- Foreign university entrance qualification.
- With the entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences you can study anything at our university of applied sciences.
But please take into account: - Depending on the type of certificate, a six-month or full-year "practical part" is compulsory in addition to the "school part" for admission to the Fachhochschule (download PDF brochure of the state ministry).
- Some certificates outside the state of NRW may have to be recognised by a district government.
b) Training contract
In addition to the university entrance qualification, an vocational training as an
- Industrial Management Assistant
- Retail Management Assistant
- Management Assistant for Office Management
- Management Assistant for Wholesale and Foreign Trade
- Management Assistant in E-Commerce
at a cooperation partner of FH Aachen is a prerequisite for a place at university. If you would like to apply at a company that is not yet a cooperation partner of FH Aachen, it is possible to conclude a cooperation agreement.
For an vocational training within the dual study programme Business Studies Praxis Plus, the application to a cooperating company usually takes place one year before the start of the apprenticeship. The applicants go through the selection process for one of the above-mentioned training places in the company and are proposed for a place at university by the cooperation companies.

The application procedure for the study programme Business Studies Praxis Plus
Study + vocational training
1. application for a training place
