Admission Requirements for the Degree Programme Design (M.A.)
In addition to the general admission requirements, you must also meet the following requirements for the Design degree programme:
Would you like to take the special aptitude test for the Design M.A. degree program?
To be admitted to the master's program in "Design," applicants must demonstrate a particular aptitude for the program, which is assessed in a preliminary procedure conducted by the Department of Design. Successful participation in this procedure is required in order to subsequently apply for a place on the program.
- The application deadline for the entrance exam for the start of the 2027 summer semester is Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
- The application deadline for the entrance exam for the start of the 2027 winter semester is Tuesday, April 20, 2027.

If you have passed the aptitude test
If you have successfully completed the aptitude test, you can apply for the "Design" degree programme via the FH Aachen application portal.
The aptitude test is valid for four consecutive application deadlines.
