Application and Admission

Applications for the Master's degree programme in Finance are possible for the summer and winter semesters. The degree programme is admission-restricted. This means that only a limited number of places at university are available. To be able to apply for a degree programme, you must meet the following admission requirements.

• Bachelor's degree with at least 6 semesters and at least 180 credit points in an economics or closely related degree programme (at least 80% of the credits earned must be related to economics)
• Knowledge of at least 25 credit points in the areas of financing, controlling, accounting and taxation during the Bachelor's degree programme (or equivalent previous education),
• Overall grade of the Bachelor's degree (or equivalent degree) with a minimum grade of 2.5
• Sufficient knowledge of the German language

Application deadline:

For the winter semester: deadline 15.7.

For the summer semester: deadline 15.1.
