Application and admission
The Medical Engineering B.Eng. degree programme is a degree programme without admission restrictions (NC). However, in order to be able to apply for this degree programme, you must meet certain admission requirements.
For this degree programme, no proof of practical experience (pre-study practical trainings) is required prior to admission. There are no entrance examinations.
There is the voluntary option of taking an online self-assessment test (approx. 60-90 minutes). Here you can test your knowledge in maths, natural sciences and computer science and get an impression of the content required for the start of studies. Upon completion, you will also receive an assessment of your strengths and weaknesses, as well as recommendations for personalised preparation.

You can start your studies in the winter semester, the deadline for applying for a place at university is mid-May to 31 August.
