NEW: Check legal citations with ‘lawlink’

The library now offers access to ‘lawlink’ for members of the FH Aachen - a tool that checks legal citations in AI-generated and self-written texts.

How lawlink’works
Highlight legal citations from a (AI-generated) text and let ‘lawlink’ check which legal provisions, case numbers and journal references can be verified in legal databases. It also detects citation errors (regardless of whether AI was used).
In addition to open accessible resources such as ‘Gesetze im Internet’, ‘lawlink’ also searches secure sources like databases licensed by the library, e.g. ‘beck-online‘ and ‘Juris‘.

Tip: Open the FH Aachen access links to ‘beck online’ and ‘Juris’ in separate browser tabs once beforehand. This will help you avoid login issues later on.

Please note: Uploading copyright-protected texts, such as examination papers, for the purpose of checking them is not permitted under data protection law.
