Areas of specialisation

admission requirements

In order to be allowed to take exams in specialisation modules, you must provide proof of at least 80 credit points. This corresponds to 16 passed module examinations.

Number of areas of specialisation

Depending on the degree programme and the Examination Regulations, you choose a different number of specialisation modules.

  • In Business Administration/Business Studies you have to choose a total of seven specialisation modules.
  • In the degree programmes in Business Law you have to choose six specialisation modules.
  • In the degree programme Global Business and Economics you have to choose six specialisation modules.

Choice of areas of specialisation

The modules you can choose from are specified in the respective Examination Regulations. The range of specialisations varies from semester to semester. You will find the modules offered in CampusOffice in the corresponding semester. In Ilias you will find a list of the specialisation modules and also presentations of the last semesters. You can also view individual presentations on specialisations on ILIAS. However, most specialisation-presentations take place in person (see below).

Allocation of seats

Since the summer semester 2021, places in restricted modules have been allocated in accordance with Admission Regulations. These have been changed for the summer semester 2022. You can find the new Admission Regulations here. At the beginning, all students have a waiting place, the allocation of places will then take place according to the specifications of the Admission Regulations. We have compiled an overview of which modules are restricted. We have also compiled all the information and registration dates for you.
