FH Navigator / OSA
We are delighted that you are interested in studying at FH Aachen!
The FH Navigator is a tool for orientation and self-reflection (Online Self Assessment = OSA). You work on questions and tasks from study-relevant subject areas online. The results will be analysed and you will receive feedback. Participation is free of charge and anonymous.
We would like to give you the opportunity to compare your attitude and your own knowledge of the subject matter at school with the requirements of the degree programme:
- Do you have the will to achieve, the interest in the subject and the right attitude to enjoy and succeed in your studies?
- Do you have the school material in physics, maths and technology so up-to-date in your head that you will be able to keep up at the start of your studies?
- Is your self-assessment correct, do you know yourself well enough?
- Does the degree programme you want to choose really meet your expectations?
The FH Navigator shows you alternatives as well as support options from FH Aachen, such as study counselling or preliminary courses. The tasks to be solved in the FH Navigator provide examples of the requirements you will face at the beginning of a degree course and whether your personal expectations of a degree course correspond to reality.
The Navigator helps you to cope better with the first few semesters by answering questions about whether your personal inclinations and aptitudes match the requirements of your chosen degree programme and thus helps to increase student satisfaction in the long term.
