FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions
What is a clearance certificate? Do I need one if I want to study at FH Aachen?
You only need a clearance certificate to study at FH Aachen if you have already studied a related or comparable degree programme at another German higher education institution.
If your higher education institution cannot issue you with a clearance certificate, you can alternatively submit a qualified transcript of grades certifying which examinations you took and passed or failed in your previous studies.
The clearance certificate/qualified transcript of records can often be issued by the Examination Office of your former university.
