What is the Whistleblower Protection Act?
The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG for short) serves to implement the Whistleblower Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/1937).
The aim of the HinSchG is to protect persons who obtain information about irregularities and violations in the course of their professional activities and report them.
In this context, he Compliance Ombudsperson (in short: Ombudsperson) appointed by the FH, Dr Johannes Dilling, will accept your information as an independent contact.
How to contact the ombudsperson?
You can contact the ombudsperson in any conceivable way (telephone, e-mail, fax, post or via the whistleblowing system www.safewhistle.info). It is also possible to meet in person, including via video and audio transmission if desired.

What happens to your tip?
Any information received is checked for plausibility by the ombudsperson, processed and forwarded to the university in confidence.
Within the university, a working unit consisting of representatives from the Compliance, Internal Audit and Legal Departments as well as the Chancellor's Consultant will take care of further processing.
Finally, you will receive re-registration from the ombudsperson.
