Geschlechtersensible Sprache

Language influences our thinking, consciousness and perception. It controls our assessment of facts, reflects and conveys our values and thus shapes our environment. By using gender-sensitive, inclusive language, we as a university can help to consider and address all people equally and thus support discrimination-free communication.

The FH Aachen guidelines on gender-sensitive and inclusive language facilitate the use of gender-sensitive language at the university. Concrete examples help to formulate in a gender-sensitive way.
