Freshman Institute

The Freshman Program is run jointly by the Freshman Institute of the FH Aachen and the Aachen Institute of Applied Sciences (AcIAS e.V.).  The Freshman Institute of the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences supervises the quality of the program, prepares the entrance and final exams, and issues the final certificates.

The Aachen Institute of Applied Sciences (AcIAS) conducts this full-time program, which consists of appropriate language training and technical and other courses necessary for participants to qualify for university entrance. If applicable, internships that are consistent in content and length with the admission requirements of the fields of study in the English or German tracks are also provided.
