The Renewable Energy Summer School is going into the next round: Together with the Startup Village of Brainergy Park Jülich GmbH, we will get you fit for the energy transition and teach you the basics of the startup world .

Programme

The programme consists of keynote lectures and excursions on the topics of

Renewable energies
Climate protection
E-mobility and hydrogen
Storage systems
Basics of business model development
and many more.

In addition, in the think tank you have the opportunity to develop your own business idea alone or in a team. The ideas are presented to the group at the end of the Summer School and the most convincing ideas are awarded prizes.

Requirements

Basic knowledge

The Summer School Renewable Energy - Startup Edition is designed in such a way that in-depth knowledge of the above topics is not mandatory. However, it is advisable to have a basic understanding and interest.

Setting up a business

No special knowledge of business administration is assumed. It is also not required that participants already have a concrete business idea that they want to work on during the Summer School.

Language skills

The language of the lectures will be German only. Participants should therefore have good German language skills.

Insurance
We require that participants have adequate and valid health, liability and accident insurance for the duration of the Summer School. Please note that FH Aachen does not cover any of these risks.

Students:

Regular: 469,00 €
Early-Bird: 319,00 € (10 Tickets available)

Non-students:

Regular: 569,00 €
Early-Bird: 419,00 € (2 Tickets available)

This fee covers all programme contents. Costs for meals and accommodation are to be paid by the participants themselves and are not included in the fee.

Please note that your registration is only valid after timely payment.

If you are unable to attend the summer school after registering or if you cancel your registration, please send us a written request for this by email to summerschool@sij.fh-aachen.de. An administration fee of € 30,- will then be charged to cover the costs. In case of non-attendance or cancellation after the start of the seminar, the full fee will be due.

All payments will be made in EURO. If transferring money from outside the Euro zone, please note the bank charges. All bank charges for bank transfers are to be paid by the participants.
