The Data Processing Centre is the central contact point for the network facilities of FH Aachen. It also offers a wide range of IT and eLearning services. Have a look here.

The University Library of FH Aachen has an extensive range of literature on the subject of applications, which you can access via the online catalogue . Helpful search terms are, for example, application, career guide, online application, graduates or doctorate.

IHK

The Aachen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), a cooperation partner of FH Aachen, has excellent contacts with local industry and trade. It fosters Euregional cooperation and university contacts, organises trade fairs, offers further training courses and provides start-up advice. | Go to IHK

The Study and Career Choice team at the Employment Agency, a cooperation partner of FH Aachen, offers interesting career counselling: career entry, application portfolio check, further training, orientation, starting a business, alternatives. Business Companies

There are numerous ways for companies and our Career Service to collaborate. For example, companies can inform us about their offers for work placements, final theses and jobs, which we then publish on the FH Aachen Job Portal. Whether large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, or institutions from Germany and abroad wish to introduce themselves to students and graduates at the university, or invite them for company visits, they are welcome to contact the Career Service.

Additionally, the Career Service is a point of contact for companies in other areas, such as, for example, those looking to redesign their premises (foyer, corridors, courtyards) by offering students from the Faculty of Design their unused floor and wall spaces for exhibitions. This makes the premises more diverse and interesting for customers and employees, while giving young creative minds the opportunity to promote themselves.

Furthermore, the Career Service and Innovation Transfer act as a competent point of contact for queries related to business succession as well.

Course Providers

The course providers are experienced trainers who are self-employed or employed by counselling institutions. They work together with the Employment Agency or are known to the Career Service through cooperating partners, networks and universities.
