At the Jülich Campus of FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, we regularly host a "Study Information Day" every two years.
Are you interested in biotechnology, bioeconomy, chemistry, sustainability, and environmental topics? Then the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology at FH Aachen's Jülich Campus is the right place for you!

Am Campus Jülich der FH Aachen veranstalten wir regelmäßig (alle zwei Jahre) einen "Studieninfotag". Sie interessieren sich für die Themenbereiche Biotechnologie, Bioökonomie, Chemie, Nachhaltigkeit und Umwelt? Dann sind Sie in unserem Fachbereich Chemie und Biotechnologie auf dem Campus Jülich der FH Aachen genau richtig.
Der nächste "Studieninfotag" findet 2029 statt. Wir freuen uns Sie bereits 2028 zum Tag der offenen Tür und zum Hochschulinfotag (HIT) zu begrüßen.
Taster programme
Be a student for a day!
During the second week of the Easter holidays (NRW) and the first week of the autumn holidays (NRW), we offer you the opportunity to take part in lectures, exercises and practical experiments in the "Applied Chemistry" degree programme.
You will get a first impression of your possible future studies with us. Participation in the taster programme is of course free of charge.

If you would like to get a first impression of what is taught at a university and how it is taught, why not sit in on a lecture? There are selected lectures for school pupils that you can attend at any time.

We offer workshops for high school groups
We offer workshops on various topics in the fields of applied chemistry and biotechnology for senior school groups.
We enable you to discuss topics with us, which are then worked on in our laboratories with demonstrative experiments. These workshops can be adapted to the time available to your school groups. If you are interested, please contact Mrs Sandra Schmitz.

Visit us at a trade fair! Get answers to all your questions! The Biotechnology degree programme is presented alongside the numerous other degree programmes at FH Aachen at various trade fairs. At the stand you will find the staff of the Student Advisory Service and in some cases also staff from the individual faculties/degree programmes, who will be happy to answer your questions. Are you looking for an internship?
Are you looking for an internship? We look forward to receiving your application! In our Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology laboratories, 4-week internships can be completed as part of a vocational training programme.
As a rule, you will be invited to a personal interview and have the opportunity to visit the laboratories.
