Admission to a course of study on the Bachelor's degree programme in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science is only possible if you can present a training contract as a Mathematical-Technical Software Developer (MaTSE) with a cooperating company. You must therefore apply for a training place at a research institute or training company in step 1. If a training contract is successfully concluded, registration at FH Aachen takes place in step 2.

Many training companies start selecting applicants a year before the start of the programme in September of the following year. However, applications can be submitted up until July before the start of the programme, as training places regularly remain unfilled.

You have the option of applying directly to a training company or you can apply centrally to the respective place of study. They will be happy to help you find a training place if you authorise them to pass on your details. They also offer apprenticeships themselves. After a successful application, you register for the degree programme at FH Aachen. Registration takes place online. A certified copy of the training contract must be submitted during the enrolment process. Information on the enrolment process
