Programme content

In the Master's programme, the knowledge acquired in the Bachelor's programme is deepened scientifically and methodically. The Master's programme has both a professional and academic character. All teaching units are interdependent and interlinked. The Master's degree programme at FH Aachen follows a content guideline that considers the context of architecture and urban planning. Exemplary projects relating to specific topics are used to establish social references, organise, interpret and assess influences and conditions in order to make decisions and present conceptual proposals. The design skills, knowledge and abilities acquired during the course enable graduates to fulfil their role as generalists and coordinate interdisciplinary programme objectives. Particular emphasis is placed on teaching complex, integrative skills.
