Architecture M.A.
The Master's degree programme is geared towards qualifying students to work independently in all areas of the architect's profession in both the private and public sector. In addition to design and construction activities, this frequently includes integrative planning and coordination of interdisciplinary projects. The degree is intended to entitle students to apply for authorisation as an independent architect by the relevant chamber after a period of practical work, as well as to carry out this profession internationally (in accordance with BARL).
Building on the knowledge gained from a preceding Bachelor's degree programme, the course of study provides students with further in-depth knowledge. As with the undergraduate Bachelor's degree programme at FH Aachen, great emphasis is placed on independent work in interdisciplinary projects and the development of digital skills. As a result, students will be able to integrate complex interdisciplinary requirements in concrete, practically relevant situations.
