An admission-free degree programme
The Bachelor's degree programme in Civil Engineering is currently an open-admission degree programme. All applicants who meet the requirements are admitted to open-admission degree programmes. We are happy to explain below how you can apply for a place at university and what requirements you need to meet.
No pre-study practical training required
It is not compulsory for students on degree programmes in the Faculty of Civil Engineering to complete practical training before starting their studies.
However, in addition to theory, practical experience before and during your studies is very important or beneficial: practical trainings provide initial insights into the tasks and work processes of your future profession. So if you still have time and the opportunity, use it to gain practical experience.
