On the degree programme with a practical semester, you have the opportunity to undertake a practical semester or a stay abroad: 

• During the practical semester, you will be employed outside the university. This usually involves a continuous, full-time practical role which you undertake for the duration of one semester. At the end, you will write a report on your practical semester. 
• There are various ways to integrate a stay abroad into your degree programme. You will spend a semester at a university abroad. Here, in addition to gaining subject-specific knowledge, you can develop your intercultural skills, build personal networks and improve your existing language skills. Various funding opportunities are available for your stay abroad.
