Course content

The degree programme is divided into core studies (1st-4th semester) and specialisation studies (5th-6th semester).

You will complete the core studies at the partner university, the University of Moulay Ismail (UMI) in Meknès. There, the focus is on the fundamentals of mathematics with analysis, linear algebra, stochastics and numerics on the one hand and computer science with the Java programming language, a second programming language, algorithms and software development processes on the other. The achievements specified in the cooperation agreement will be recognised for your studies.

Before starting the specialisation programme, you must prove that you have completed eight weeks of relevant practical training in addition to the modules of the core studies. You have the option of completing the relevant practical training and the "Technical German" module in an integration semester at FH Aachen. The prescribed period of study is extended accordingly by one semester.

In the specialisation programme , you choose from a wide range of compulsory elective subjects for your individual specialisation. These include, for example, various programming languages, specialisation subjects in mathematics (introduction to stochastic processes, numerics 2) and computer science (script programming, web engineering and internet technologies, mobile applications and much more). Various application subjects and general competences are also offered. These include, for example, business administration, quality management, robotics, presentation techniques and technical and scientific publishing, to name but a few.
