Communication designers specialise in giving form to the human will to communicate. In seven semesters, they learn to deal with communication intelligently and intellectually. With the help of conception, drafting and design, they choose the right medium, set the right signs and send the right signals.
Product designers create added value: they create living and working spaces artistically, creatively and functionally. In seven semesters, they learn to analyse, plan, design and model in the fields of exhibition and trade fair design, industrial product design, interior design, furniture design, transportation design, environmental design, public and social design, among others.
The Master of Arts "Design" at FH Aachen is a degree programme for thinking together. In interdisciplinary projects over three semesters, students learn about the broad creative spectrum of the communication and product world. They do not think in disciplines, but in contexts - a skill that pays off in professional life.
