Student bodies of the faculties (Fachschaften)
The entire student body is divided into the various student councils. The students of the individual faculties elect representatives from their midst for the Faculty Student Council (FSR), which is comparable to the student council or the works council and represents your interests or those of the student body in the faculty. The FSR represents the student body of the faculty (Fachschaft) to the department management and also has many other tasks.
The tasks of the student bodies of the faculties (Fachschaft) include:
First semester work
In order to give freshers a good start to their studies, the student body of the faculty (Fachschaft) organises a varied programme and a freshers' trip during the orientation week.
Confidential students
If you are looking for a contact for a personal concern or concern, you are welcome to contact the student body of the faculty (Fachschaft). The student counsellors are obliged to maintain confidentiality.
Stationery supplies (LMR)
During the specified breaks, you can purchase all the study materials you need from the student body of the faculty (Fachschaft) at a reasonable price.
Committee work
The student body of the faculty (Fachschaft) represents the students of the faculty in many committees and commissions in order to guarantee the students a right of co-determination in the organisation and development of the faculty.
Events
In order to have fun while studying, the student body of the faculty (Fachschaft) organises parties for students of the faculty.
