Forensische Analyse von Android-Applikationen mit Navigationskomponenten
Maurin Busch

Abstract
Due to the large volume of data, manual forensic analysis of modern devices such as smartphones is hardly feasible. For this reason, forensic tools such as Magnet AXIOM, Cellebrite Physical Analyzer or, specifically for Android-based smartphones, the opensource solution ALEAPP are used. For the applications considered in this study, DB Navigator, OOONO, and Sygic, support in these commonly used tools did not previously exist. Therefore, ALEAPP was extended with corresponding Python-based modules for the extraction of location and navigation artifacts. In addition, the obtained data is being visualized on a map based on OpenStreetMap for better interpretability. The quality of this data is evaluated by comparison with reference data from the Strava application.
