Flight Operations Technology with Commercial Pilot Training B.Eng.
The Dream of Flying
As an alternative to the "classic" aerospace engineering degree programme, FH Aachen offers the option of a "dual study programme" in cooperation with a European flight school. This degree programme is completed with a Bachelor of Engineering and an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence). We cooperate with several flight schools for this purpose, further information can be found here. The dual study programme shortens the duration of studies (alternatively the duration of training) compared to otherwise serial training courses.
Whether global air traffic, its optimisation or aircraft testing: flying will continue to be an essential part of our world in the future. Particularly in view of the ecological and sustainability issues of our time, ingenuity in technology and the realisation of new ideas are indispensable for the coming years. The content offered on the degree programme prepares our students for future aviation.
This programme is only taught in German.
