Graduates of the degree programme "Industrial Engineering" are in great demand as more and more interfaces between previously separate disciplines are emerging in science and technology. Graduates of "Industrial Engineering" are sought after as process thinkers, because they know how to take both a technical and an economic perspective.

The Master's degree programme in Industrial Engineering prepares students for management positions in the production of modern companies, whereby production is not only understood to mean procurement, manufacturing, assembly and quality assurance, but also the provision of services.

Graduates master the holistic understanding, planning and further development of production processes, so that they can build up new types of production methods in the interaction of man, material and machine. One third of the graduates work in consulting after their degree, two thirds enter the manufacturing industry, mainly in the automotive industry.
