Graduates of the Industrial Engineering degree programme are sought-after employees, as more and more interfaces between previously separate specialist areas are emerging in science and technology. Industrial Engineering graduates are sought after as process thinkers, as they understand how to take both the technical and the economic perspective.

The Master's degree programme in Industrial Engineering prepares students for management positions in the production of modern companies, whereby production is not only understood to mean procurement, manufacturing, assembly and quality control, but also the provision of services.

Graduates master the holistic understanding, planning and further development of production processes so that they can develop new production methods in the interaction of man, material and machine. One third of graduates work in consulting after completing their degree, while two thirds enter the manufacturing industry, mainly in the automotive industry.
